The new Microsoft Windows update, Microsoft Windows 10 ‘Redstone 4’, is finally here, and it’s packed full of features you’re bound to enjoy.

If you’re hungry to get the update right now, the recommended course of action is to manually check for updates. If you decide to wait it out, Microsoft will be actively pushing the new update starting on May 8th, 2018. Devices with a higher likelihood of successful installation will receive the prompt first.

The new release includes the following IT Pro features:

– Windows for Business updates will now be easier to control; you will be able to pause and uninstall them

– Improved cybersecurity elements: Exploit Guard, Device Guard, Windows Defender ATP, Application Guard

– You will be able to run custom actions or scripts alongside Windows setup

– FIDO 2.0 authentication for Windows Hello will now work with Azure AD-joined Windows 10 devices

– Windows 10 Subscription Activation will support Inherited Activation

– The ability to access the new Kiosk browser and support for Windows 10 kiosk

– From now on, Intune and System Center Configuration Manager policies will allow for hybrid Azure Active Directory-joined authentication

Microsoft Office Insiders are in for another treat: it’s now possible to try out the integration of single sign-in across Windows 10 April 2018 Update and Microsoft Office 365. You only need to sign into one of these services, and this will suffice for all your devices. By June 2018, all Microsoft Office 365 users will be able to enjoy this feature.
