Direct Routing connects your Microsoft Teams Phone System to the outside world through SIP trunks, your get a DDI number (a phone number for your Teams Phone), setup and support. Our calls are billed to the nearest minute. There is no monthly minimum call spend – prices for other destinations and bulk discounts are available on request. What we Offer
Teams Phone System
Telephony users interact with Phone System by using Microsoft Teams as their interface. This provides full PBX telephony functionality such as making and receiving calls, simple voicemail and transferring calls. All this functionality is available ‘internally’ across your company network ‘out-of-the-box’.
Custom Call Plans
Customers of Microsoft have to buy a ‘Calling Plan’. Put simply, Calling Plans are very similar to an old-style mobile phone contract where you pre-commit to domestic and international minutes and there are many issues created by this such as; you have to ‘buy minutes’ for each user and these cannot be shared; you have to pay monthly by Credit Card; unused minutes cannot be carried over. With Microsoft Teams Telephony from Qubic, we provide straightforward, per minute, company-wide billing, just like with any ordinary business phone system agreement.
Qubic can provide Direct Routing for clients that are using connectivity via the public internet or, if the customer uses Think Nexus® Connectivity (Qubic’s own circuits), calls are routed directly to the Qubic Cloud without crossing the public internet. In either case, calls are directly routed to PSTN over the same High Availability SIP and billed per minute.
This solution can be used across multiple devices with Teams being available across Windows Mac, iOS and Android platforms and all within a single Office 365 licence as well as some basic IP phones or specialist Teams Devices.
You can connect your Microsoft Teams system to the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) in either of two ways; using a Microsoft calling Plan or via Direct Routing.
