30 St Mary Axe (informally also known as “the Gherkin”) is a skyscraper designed by Sir Norman Foster in London’s financial district, the City of London, completed in December 2003 and opened at the end of May 2004. With 41 floors, the tower is 180 metres (591 ft) tall and stands on the site of the former Baltic Exchange, which was extensively damaged in 1992. The Gherkin is managed by 30 St Mary’s Axe Management Ltd.
Qubic provides service and support to the entire Landlord infrastructure. As part of the service, Qubic provides an on-site Network Administrator for an agreed number of days each month. In addition to LAN support, Qubic provides circuits for WAN connectivity and a mobile telephony service.
