WebNMS exhibits IoT Smart City solutions at GITEX convention

WebNMS, an enterprise IoT solution provider, demonstrated a couple of Smart City solutions at GITEX Technology Week in Dubai.

The first solution is directly related to energy management. It essentially reduces operational costs, unwanted losses, and downtime, while boosting the productivity of businesses. This product is a better choice than the similar solutions already available on the market, due to the combined capability of remote monitoring, fleet management, and energy management.

According to Karen Ravindranath, the head of programming at WebNMS, their IoT solutions encourage coherent solution architecture, and are compatible with multiple gateways and sensors. Furthermore, the testing and deployment phase takes up a minimal amount of time. She believes their turnkey solutions fit the needs of various industries, and should serve to optimise operational expenses through monitoring, analytics, reporting, and data transfer.

The second solution is a ‘Smart Lighting’ solution. With its assistance, it will now be possible to monitor thousands of street lights across a geographical region, which can be accomplished through automation and centralised controls.

Mukesh Arora, CTO at Imtac, mentioned that the deployment of this particular IoT solution went smoothly when dealing with a large section of street lighting infrastructure for one of their customers in Muscat. He predicts this solution has a high probability of resulting in 15-20 per cent energy savings, as well as a considerably reducing overall operating expenses.

WebNMS is working closely with partners all around the world. You can find their global IoT consultants at booth B7 – 37, in hall 7.
