They believe their actions have led the unauthorised activity to a halt. Apart from that, they have decided to implement some additional security enhancements. Their investigation is deeply focused on the transactions that occurred in their restaurants within the specified period of time.
The company reports the outcome of the investigation is still undetermined, and due to this, they are unable to provide further details on the investigation. However, they promised to keep in touch with affected customers to notify them as additional information becomes available, including specific locations affected.
In the meantime, the affected customers are advised to closely monitor their bank or credit card statements. If any unusual activity is spotted, the bank should be notified immediately.
