Mitel, an enterprise communications provider, was named a leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for unified communications once again. This marks the fourth year in a row for this trend.
In the recently published July 2017 Gartner report, it is noted that the organisations which invest in premises-centric UC technology must have a clearly developed migration path when moving towards cloud services with partners that are operationally and commercially viable.
As time goes on, there is an increasing demand for affordable and flexible cloud solutions, and Mitel can rely on its experience to make that transition easier for customers. MiTeam and MiCollab both offer a full range of collaboration applications. These offerings provide stable and consistent user experiences, no matter what device customers are using.
MiTeam, a collaborative workspace application, runs fully in the cloud, so hybrid deployments can be integrated seamlessly. Mitel’s CloudLink capability allows business owners with existing infrastructure, either themselves or from any other vendor, to easily migrate to the cloud whenever they choose to.
Torre Bookout, US president of Mitel User Group, believes the availability of cloud-based solutions leads to increased productivity and reduced costs. According to him, communications infrastructure has the potential to deliver a strategic competitive advantage.
Rich McBee, CEO at Mitel, said that Mitel is helping businesses in the process of digital transformation while leveraging their existing investments. To drive even greater collaboration and accelerate productivity, Mitel offers advanced, high-value collaboration tools.
