Business customers in the Faversham area can look forward to using 4G speeds, with Vodafone announcing that the faster services will be rolled out in this area.

All customers who have a 4G-compatible smartphone will be able to access the faster speeds and, as the rollout continues, they will be able to do so in far more places. 4G coverage from Vodafone has now reached 745 of Britain’s cities, larger towns and districts, and also covers many smaller areas of the UK. Business customers in the Doncaster area are among those who are set to see what 4G can offer them, thanks to this latest part of the roll-out.

Vodafone aims to ensure that 98% of the country can access mobile broadband using either 2G, 3G or 4G. The expansion of 4G services is part of an investment totalling around £2bn, which Vodafone is using to improve services and its network right across the UK.

Upgrades to the 3G network will boost both indoor and outdoor use – ideal for the business broadband user who needs to access data on the move. Improvements will also be made to the provision of high definition voice (HDV) technology on the 3G network. Vodafone also plans to introduce its WiFi Calling service to parts of the country in the coming months.

Vodafone customers can also take advantage of a range of entertainment options when they use the 4G network, which is the result of Vodafone’s content partnerships.
